I don’t think it’s a terrible song but I always end up rolling my eyes when it gets to the “ding dong” section of the song.

Johns song is slower yes, but I suppose it depends on the type of Christmas song you like. Like for example, my favorite Christmas song is The Christmas Song sung by Nat King Cole. So Johns resonating with me more then happy bombastic silly Paul’s makes sense.

My type of Christmas is warm and comforting, not unnerving
