This many people wouldn’t be hyped for dune 2 or love dune 1 if they believed Timothee was bad so disrespectfully your opinion is ass and you gotta explain yourself.

I don't think he's an awful Paul. I think when he raises his voice or needs to show a lot of emotion he's actually quite good in the role, but in the quieter/more intimate moments I don't really think he projects the confidence or carries himself with the gravitas that is shown in the books.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the latter is a deliberate choice on Denis' part to get more people to relate and connect with the character, but if it is... I'm not the biggest fan of it.

I'll also admit that there likely wasn't a better choice out there unless they went for an unknown.
