To me, what I want is to get a first try guess
I've never done it before
If I just keep using whatever word is "best", the only thing that'll keep happening is getting guesses in 3, 4 or 5 tries and that's it
That sounds boring tbh
I just use whatever word comes to my mind that day and hope I get a 1st try guess and if not, at least it's more fun trying diverse words every day and not just crane or arise or aeons or whatever people start with 90% of the time- Mar 3, 2022·1 replyMattM

Wordle needs to have a list of all 257 words used so far tbh because you might be playing yourself by using a word that's already been in the game
I think I saw a list of words used so far in an article somewhere
But yeah, it would be cool if you could see on the wordle site itself, much easier
