Current company f***ed me over on pay, which is why I will have 0 hesitation to jump s*** when it benefits me. Company culture is so f***ing ass too. But, it was a great learning experience. Opened my eyes to many red flags. Grateful. I needed this to grow.

deadass blows my mind whenever I go to all hands meetings or town hall meetings and see how much people love the company or seeing how much they fall for all the fake ass corporate fluff that tries to make them feel like we’re all one big happy family when these mf’s could drop you in the blink of an eye. That’s why I could be at a company for 1 week, but if I get offered a pay bump elsewhere, I will jump with no hesitation. I can only see myself staying if it’s a company I care a lot about like Apple (which even then has its flaws)

the only thing that keeps me going in this corporate world is being able to have my own apartment and some of my coworkers are cool and likeminded. so I’m thankful for that, I love when the day ends too

I've fantasized about working in a library before. Or being a night auditor. When I was 18, I just figured I'd work some lower level government job. Good pay, good work-life balance, not trying to get every last cent out of a customer's pocket. Hell, maybe even a position where I could make a positive change in the day to day of people. 18 year old me was a smart f***ing guy. Who knows what the future brings? All I know, it's not this. However, I may also be experiencing mental deterioration.

Grass is always greener lol. I work for a govt agency fully remote and yeah, it's a CAKE WALK, but I live in really high COL area so I feel like i cant save any money. Would like to go private and make 2x as much but that's never guaranteed and I know full well how good i have it currently with this work-life balance.
