Man I know some people at my job gotta be mad at me

I never do anything when someone says “we need to do this” alluding to me that they want me to do it (unless it’s my boss)

I just ignore em and let that message sit there until they ask nicely lmaoooo

Idc if it’s a PM or whoever, if I don’t directly report to you you are getting ignored until you ask nicely

It’s definitely contextual for me and how you say it. If we are already talking about a topic then that’s fine, and it generally is nicer/softer to say “we”. I agree.

But if we are on the same level and you just message me out of the blue randomly, AND I know you have the capability to do it, I’m not doing it unless you ask me nicely lol.

Now like I mentioned if it’s my boss or another executive, sure. But if it’s some random project manager who isn’t above me then I’m Ignoring it unless you ask nicely lol. Especially if I know you have the ability to do it yourself and it’s not related to my job position.

But also I’m a corporate a***yst so we tend to get relied on for a lot of bullshit outside of our wheelhouse. So it gets annoying dealing with it day after day haha
