Coworker just quit, now my hours for the next two weeks got all kinda of f***ed up
Dumbass was clocking in on days she didn’t show up for
What made her think she could get away with that

It's better to try, and have failed, than to have never tried at all.

She flopped a job that’s ultimately a joke tho, not worth the risk ask me. We have days where not a single customer comes in over here
nothing like making a bunch of little f*** ups and having your chest start hurting from the pure anxiety running through your veins
This has been the longest hour in half ever god damn
I’m ready to go home
28 minutes to go
i work in food, are desk jobs super boring?
it varies a bit by company but generally yes. from my experience it's either boring or it's a dumpster fire, i've worked both and i'll take the former any day. i've had one job where the culture was kind of exciting and fun to be in but i chalk that up to it being private sector lol.
i'm pretty good at my job so i finish my work for the day early much of the time; working from home i'm often playing BF4 or something else for the remainder of my shift
i did absolutely f***ing terrible in this job interview but got the job today anyway
guess they just wanted somebody that could complete it regardless of quality
compensation is higher than the promotion i just got so once i get moved up in my current company i'm moonwalking out that b****
i work in food, are desk jobs super boring?
it depends generally. at my job i have long stretches where i'm not doing s***; over this last year or so i was able to run errands and get brunch some days. but every once in a while i have a lot of s*** on my plate all at once. i send so many emails its crazy
it also depends on the coworkers you have too. some people suck and might end up making more work for you
28 minutes to go
When you get down to 2 mins and the district manager calls and tells you you forgot to do 12 calls
The amount of people that voluntarily choose to eat lunch at their desk or just the office in general is perplexing to me lmao. Moment I can take lunch I’m getting the hell out.
Leaving work early to take a s*** at home is a power move
Does anyone here finesse by leaving early?
I quit working early but I don't clock out
:work:
Also is anyone else doing an unpaid internship? S***s the worst
sorry this is a work thread not a indentured servant thread
jkjk
in all seriousness I hope you don't spend a second longer than absolutely necessary in that type of situation

I remember my first internship. I thought I wasn't gonna get anything. But then I was informed I was gonna get like a week's pay for the three months. But they mistakenly paid me twice
Didn't get s*** at this other place though..
