This track lowkey a banger had it on repeat at gym for the 2nd time today and they were playing it on the speakers too
This Lil Durk version is definitely fan-made right? Cause ain't no damn way they got the 808's distorted just for it
Also, the release dates (at least on Spotify) show the Durk version was released on the 18th and the original on the 22nd
It’s legit afaik
crazy how nobody gave a s*** about this trash ass song, it’s so over
Nobody gave a s*** which is why you're posting in a thread about it

Back in that time, those versions were planned in advance, were all finished prior to release, didn’t sound like s***, etc

this is the effect of time passing, nothing will ever be the same as before, get used to it, tiktok versions are being released in single bundles and they also sound like s***, that doesn't mean they won't get listened

Yeah that’s fair. Honestly though, most artists seem to have better quality control than Ye, regularly putting out music that isn’t finished
People will listen so I guess he doesn’t have to try

I think people are holding the bar too high for Ye nowadays, he already got cemented as a goat in music, I think he just got sloppy cause he stopped focusing on music all the time like he used to
I don't mind it tho I'm happy he's still remotely interested in music and curious to see what he comes up with

That’s real tbh, I can respect that take because that’s why I still check the music out, I’m still interested in hearing the production choices
If everyone was as real about it as you, then i wouldn’t be hating as much. Even fans should be able to be honest with themselves that Ye stopped prioritizing music, and ofc that leads to the quality dipping. And that’s okay, great runs don’t last forever
