DEL_DVYg· editedthe outcome further proved my point. imagine if chapman entered the 9th throwing the way he did for that first walk. walking a guy in 9th like that wouldve been nerve wracking.
whereas in this scenario, he walked that first batter with wild pitches and not a great feel for zone, but its fine cause 2 outs. then got his bearings for the 2nd batter. we cant have this type of feeling out process with 0 outs in the 9th.
