GEOLINKNo, there should be a league payroll minimum that all teams should be hitting.
There's no reason why a bunch of teams have a payroll of $50 milllion with billionaire owners and a new stadium.
The salary tax threshold has become somewhat of a hard cap lately for teams like the Yankees, Red Sox & Dodgers anyway. We'll see if the new CBA gets rid of the salary tax threshold or at least increases it a bit.
