Clint Eastwood is just playing himself and everyone else is just really bad at acting... Like i remember being a kid and cringing at some of the scenes with the Asian kid.

The rawness of the story alone is pretty much what saved that movie from being completely forgettable. And even then, the story is kinda corny at times as it holds your hand thru the 'racial' messaging
