Not a sophomores but.....
Chris Brown - Graffiti gotta be 1 of the worst albums ever made
I fuxxx so heavily with that album smh
Lucky Me and You Must Love Me too
An album with such highs...but with lows that are so bad they drag the album down
I disagree with this one personally, a lot of ppl hate it but it’s the best by him imo. Sold more than his first and was is most acclaimed at the time
These Days Ab Soul
Wasn't Control System his sophomore though? Longterm Mentality was his debut and dropped a year before
Tbh a lot indie/post punk bands of the 00s
I mean there's two reasons for this.
1. Music publications loved building up new indie artists and acting like tastemakers just to slam them hard later for silly reasons
2. The debuts weren't really that good anyway and got inflated reviews for no reason

Thought those were tapes
Thought those were tapes
His last tape was Longterm 2 and that's from 2010, his debut is forgotten lmao and to be fair it's mid
Control system belongs in the other thread tbh

future just needed to publicly hate this album in order to make street s***... thats my theory
The Big Withdrawal was his original sophomore album and that s*** was fire. but it got leaked because he was a sloppy dude outside of the business. That one incident f***ed him commercially forever IMO because rotten apple was so disappointing
I fuxxx so heavily with that album smh
I went thru it looking for songs for my R&B playlist and I was barely feeling anything :(
A$AP Ferg - Always Strive and Prosper.
Album has some AMAZING songs and just some of the WORST Ferg songs I've ever heard
Wasn't that his forthcoming album?
Yes it sold well but coming after GROTD.... nah
The Massacre is up there with Get Rich tbh
