For instance, people really pit up him as the greatest solo producer of all time, not considering the fact that he has a whole team around him including Mike Dean working on the final product for all of his songs. Guys like Dre and Timbaland don't operate that way. Kanye is still a master at finding the perfect sample, but everything he's done since 2006 has been a collab effort. Look at the credits for KSG - Kanye usually gets credit for producing "Reborn" when he didn't actually contribute anything to that song's sound. He just gets the credit because it's Kanye.
On the other hand, people don't give Kanye enough credit for being the savvy business guy that he is. They think that just because he's crazy on Twitter that he's actually an idiot. Kanye is just as much of a "businessman" as Jay Z (if not more) but people will never look at him that way because of how he behaves in public. There are ppl out there who really think Kanye became a billionaire by accident

Absolutely not, none of Ant's writing made it to JIK it was just his features on Everything We Need and Water, and him being part of the background vocals on Selah
he was just unlucky (or lucky depending how you look at it) that his demos leaked and not that of the countless other people that recorded verses over the same beats that just like Ant's were never used

Fam wtf are you talking about in that second sentence, you named two legendary producers that specifically both operate that way
early on Timbaland and Dre were solo producers like Ye was early on too, but Timbo's (arguably) most proliffic and revered period as a producer was in the mid 2000s and pretty much all those iconic tracks other producers in his team like Danja or J-Roc were also credited on. Today he has a new team he works with too that are credited on all the new songs he produces
Dre (besides often being accused of having ghost producers like Daz) had Mel-Man (on every 2001 track), Scott Storch, Mike Elizondo, Mark Batson
none of the legendary producers do it by themself, they don't enter the studio in 2021 without a team around them

For me it´s definetly the " Travis produced the whole Yeezus Album without him they wouldn´t be no Yeezus" completly ignoring the fact that he has production credits on only 2 songs & acting like Arca, Mike Dean, Gesaffelstein & co don´t existtravis did do alot of prodction for cruel summer and no one in any ways gave that album a listen basically the biggest slept on album period. The production for yezus was based on the GOOD Music producer group of producers if anyone knows like evian christ and skrillex did a little bit of prodcution for yeezus. It was like a experimental production album with like 18 producers on that project
