Yeah in most cases I think it’s bad if it puts humans out of work
I think it needs to be seriously regulated to ensure it doesn’t. Unless they are human jobs to replace it
as long as ppl still have a way to work there way up as someone with no experience and gain skills without the barrier of no entry level jobs available
Those are entry level jobs that are important for teens to learn the basics about working. How do you expect them to get something beyond entry level with no work experience
hmm off top I can see being beneficial for fast food as in you can use AI for cashier stuff and have more bodies preparing the food at a quicker pace? Also it could serve as a buffer for workers having to deal with s***ty customers
But then again practicing social skills is beneficial so I’m not too sure
Like retail, fast food, etc
What's your attitude towards this?
No
We just need to arm the proletariat with guns and show them which lobbyists getting in the way of universal basic income to kill
make fun of me if u want but I don't see customer service jobs like that ever being taken over like that
It’s going to take skilled jobs first
Humans will be a serf class doing unskilled labor
They already trying AI serving customers in the drive thru
I want AI to completely take over fast food. Whatever happened to fast food post-Covid has to end.
no not rly. especially if the service quality increases (it probably will)
(It wont)
make fun of me if u want but I don't see customer service jobs like that ever being taken over like that
clueless
How’s AI going to make my burger? You mean bots? They already got touch screens and apps to place your order.
In general I’d avoid these places to answer the question. I make most of my own food and when I do eat takeout or something I’ll choose local.
How do you know
Well IVRs are easily worse than real people at call centers
Well IVRs are easily worse than real people at call centers
How many of those have implemented new AI technology tho
i dont think customer service jobs (besides the telephone/internet chat bot stuff) will be replaced with AI anytime soon
As someone who’s pursuing a masters in AI, I want AI to enhance already existing jobs.
