    Like retail, fast food, etc

    What's your attitude towards this?

  • May 13, 2024

Yeah in most cases I think it’s bad if it puts humans out of work

I think it needs to be seriously regulated to ensure it doesn’t. Unless they are human jobs to replace it

no not rly. especially if the service quality increases (it probably will)

  • May 13, 2024

as long as ppl still have a way to work there way up as someone with no experience and gain skills without the barrier of no entry level jobs available

  • May 13, 2024

Those are entry level jobs that are important for teens to learn the basics about working. How do you expect them to get something beyond entry level with no work experience

  • May 13, 2024

hmm off top I can see being beneficial for fast food as in you can use AI for cashier stuff and have more bodies preparing the food at a quicker pace? Also it could serve as a buffer for workers having to deal with s***ty customers

But then again practicing social skills is beneficial so I’m not too sure

How’s AI going to make my burger? You mean bots? They already got touch screens and apps to place your order.

In general I’d avoid these places to answer the question. I make most of my own food and when I do eat takeout or something I’ll choose local.
