Not necessarily. He doesn’t have a great ear for beats or anything though. Just a fantastic production circle. There’s still dud beats on every album tho

I like Drake on cleaner more bare stuff sometimes, overproduced can overshadow Drakes lyrics. His beat choices on Scorpion were solid despite some beats running some tracks
