So for me KSG and WTT had way more impact in that regard that i would even think that group would be something significant. Pharrell will always be a goat but in my mind there would be way too much competition between Pharrel and Kanye lol. Maybe it was different back in the day idk. At that time i was only into japanese pop and rock music anyway

Lupe is top 5 rappers period. The Cool and Food & Liquor are two of rap’s best records tbh

Lupe arguably fathered a good chunk of blog rap, and was rapping about fly s*** like Goyard and all that back in 07 too. Dude was hella lyrical while still making his songs accessible and having good songwriting choices and production from like 05-09.
I’d recommend checking out F&L and The Cool. Then if you wanna dig deeper check out the original F&L that leaked, alongside his Fahrenheit mixtape series.Dude was special IMO
