I like her
But I cannot imagine a scenario where average American voters would vote for her. Too much woke talk. There's many progressive politicians out there that are way more electable on a national level.

You gon have to care what they think if you continue with this attitude cause they're gonna continue winning and making laws that affect your life.

My "attitude" is f*** bigots, and somehow being against bigots is gonna lead to more bigotry? I never said I don't vote. If marginalized groups spent our whole lives caring about their opinions we'd all kill ourselves, tf?

Lol idk what you're talking about.
I thought this thread was about AOCs viability as a presidential candidate
Lol idk what you're talking about.
I thought this thread was about AOCs viability as a presidential candidate
if AOC isnt a viable candidate under your electoral system maybe its time to give up on it
if AOC isnt a viable candidate under your electoral system maybe its time to give up on it
exactly
if AOC isnt a viable candidate under your electoral system maybe its time to give up on it
Ok
Then maybe you should make a thread about that. Which is a different subject entirely
Btw, that thread would likely entail starting a new country, because the reality is AOC is not popular enough in this country to win the popular vote, let alone the electoral vote

In 2028 she probably will be
she has an economics degree
working class experience
And public service experience in Congress
She’s probably the most qualified candidate for president like ever
But im sorry i forgot Yall only think trust fund baby lawyers are our god given rulers
Her degree means nothing if she’s not willing to use the information given to her

Comments like this is what is wrong with the Democratic Party
Unlike many old people today, I will change with the times as I get older, holding on to beliefs even after learning that they are wrong makes no sense
If all people had this mentality AOC would win easily in my generation

man really said we need a new country to elect a slightly left of center politician

Democratic nominees need more than just registered Democrats to win national elections.
So your displeasure should be directed at America as a whole, not just the Democratic party (which is a sad f***ed up byproduct of American society at large, and especially a byproduct of the voting electorate).

You misunderstand me -- I never said it's her policy preferences that make her unelectable. It's how she presents them.
It would also be remiss to not mention the role sexism unfortunately plays in many peoples' views of her.
she won’t be able to win a primary until 2032 at the earliest and hopefully she matures by then
