ALPHABEARNope, he grandfathered my client-ship into his business structure when he incorporated. I was among the first that’d let him come over to cut my hair, when he was just getting started, no shop. He has about 100~ clients now, all pay direct deposit retainer fees every month.
Mine are actually the lowest. This guy cuts half of OVOXO’s associates headtops on the regular.

We always chat when he cuts my hair, but I just rather keep business.
It’s hard finding a barber where you feel comfortable. Who knows how s*** can be outside from that environment.
Some people itt are already friends with their barbers and that’s cool. They already knew their barbers beforehand.

Mar 13, 2021TheLostBoyMy barber recently broke up with his girl. He was asking the other barbers if they wanted to go out with him, and they all said no (they couldn’t be f***ed).
This man has been cutting my hair for the past 4 years, and we know each other pretty well (we always chat whenever i get my cut).
Anyway, he asked me if I wanted to go out, after all the other barbers couldn’t. I told him I couldn’t as well, because I had to make dinner and buy groceries (plus I was tired from work).
I don’t know if I wanted to hang out with him, since he cuts my hair. Imagine if we start hanging out and there’s a falling out down the track. I don’t want him to f*** up my fade or some s***, if we don’t click outside from him cutting my hair. You know what I mean?
I’m hoping he doesn’t ask me next time to kick it.
I’m cool with him just being my barber.
