yeah it never felt like there was a machine behind tik tok to me. i can say it's put me onto a lot of new music. most of the sounds that pop off are genuinely catchy tunes. it seems like it's mostly old people hating on it lol

Like Toosie Slide did fine for a Drake song, but because it was so clearly bait it faded quickly. The songs from Scary Hours 2 had organic memes and those actually stuck around on the platform.
