It's worth noting that "songwriting" or "written by" used in this instance also refers to production. The only thing PARTY added to Own It were background vocals and he only produced on Elevate and was samples on My Side, he didn't actually write any lyrics.

For anyone who needs the clarification, you can get "writing credit" on a song for doing any of the following:
• Writing lyrics.
• Producing or co-producing the song or a part of the song.
• Being sampled on the song.
• Adding only harmonies, melodies or background vocals to a song (this is how people like Ariana Grande, Beyoncè and Rihanna who are known to use songwriting camps get writing credits on their songs. They add in an extra melody or harmony to the original song and get a "writing" credit that way).

Getting a writing credit doesn't always mean you actually wrote any lyrics and that's what's confusing about things like this.
