I would say Epstein succeeded in all of his goals except taking Trump down, which he wanted to do around the time he got arrested and realized he isnt getting out this time. Kind of shocked he didnt have a dead man's switch. But with how lazy he was corresponding with members of our govt, he really thought he was bulletproof.

But the one piece I don’t get is how has there not been a weak link (or multiple) in the last 30 years that is high enough in the government to expose it all. Surely not every single member of Congress or the FBI is a pedophile, and not every single one of them is completely corrupted to the point where if they came across information that could expose this they would go for it.

I also always think about this when people put out conspiracy stuff: in order to believe it, you need to believe that the people running our government are extremely competent and intelligent people, among the most intelligent and competent people in the world in fact, since you’re covering up something this huge (or 9/11 or JFK or aliens or whatever else).

And personally, I believe that the VAST majority of people running our government are extremely incompetent, a lot of them with below average IQ (very few would qualify as “intelligent”), and most just there because of charisma/family money/looks.

With Epstein I think the govt just chose to ignore it more than anything. Didnt require much competency until recently with the files blowing up, and they arent able to even do that right.

All the difficulty seemed to lie on epsteins end.
