But to give DMX some credit, in the interview where he tells about Drake reaching out about the sample, he said the reason he hated Drake was deeper then just not liking him, but he did not wanna get into what it was because it was cool now.

Besides kendrick which seemed more just to be competitive I think something happened behind the scenes.

Rick Ross reason though was kinda weird and seems like he never really liked him like that if denying someone a feature is cause to diss and hate them.

Here’s the way I see it:

1) The industry grew tired of Drake’s dominance for 10+ years and decided to collude with each other to take him down

2) Part of Drake’s UMG deal was that he gets a certain percentage of artists publishing

3) Women (We already know this)

4) Drake failed to commit to a feature obligation. Multiple people over the years have expressed dissatisfaction of Drake not committing to features such as Phonte, Swizz Beatz, it also looks like Roddy Rich feels the same way.
