He released Purple Emoji in the beginning of summer, it got almost no radio play at all. Even Love U Better did decently on radio a couple years ago. Then Hottest in the City dropped near the beginning of fall and that did almost nothing. What is going on with his album and when is he dropping another single?

as much as I love him, I can't imagine what a good Ty$ album would be about.

he's a fantastic vocalist & performer, but he's dangerously low on the artistry totem. he has no message, belief or commitment to convey to his audience except making music that you can generally vibe to.

nothing wrong with that though. it us as fans that should have more realistic expectations.

His label failing him, Purple Emoji seems better off as an album cut instead of a lead single, and Hottest In The City probably didn't even need to be released at all.
