I think this is a very valid, fun, and practical use for AI. I don't think there is any harm in fans having fun and making things like this for personal use or use among the fan community. it's like video game modding, sneaker customizing, or fan fiction.

AI will become problematic when it aims to replace or stand in for real art/music and is pumped by the corporate machine/industry, but until that happens s*** like this is nothing more than some nerd doing a homebrew

hey. i’m one of the creators of this project and here to answer any questions you have. there’s a lot of hate AND hype around this project, and to be honest we are still going to continue working on it with a release planned within the next couple weeks. i have production and writing credits on multiple songs, and i’m curious to hear the reactions to the full, MIXED, tracks. we’ve done a couple DBR and Owl Pharoah type tracks, but for UTOP-AI we don’t think they really fit. This poses the question “should we release another project with DBR sounding tracks?” the answer so far is we don’t know, but we need to finish and release UTOP-AI to see the public’s reactions and opinions
