why is Cena still the cover for these games? isn't he retired and a full time actor now?

He had his one and only match of 2022 on December 31
I think the showcase mode is going to cover his career since he hit 20 Years last year

Hope we get to play some heel Cena
I know we usually don’t get info on these games until pretty late but less than 2 months out with nothing is pretty wild

what do we really expect from them though? It's like the 2K series, the basic mechanics of each game are the same. only difference between releases is usually the roster, maybe give or take a couple moves

Nah you’re right. Plus I remembered back when the games used to drop in October, SummerSlam weekend would be when we got a big chunk of the game info. And that would be roughly the same amount of time.

they didn’t even announce the roster for 22 until a week before the game came out cause of the amount of released people lol

They kinda always do that with sports games
madden starts its promo run like with a month to release
feel like 2k was 3 weeks

Half of those people were brought back over the last 6 months too so the roster shouldn't be much different lmao
Rico Nasty on the soundtrack possibly?
2k22 was cool, didn't play it long, but I had fun
