I’d take a new mediocre Banjo game over the IP being abandoned forever.

Platformers aren’t easy to get it right unless you’re Nintendo.
The hype purely based on the Banjo IP alone shouldn’t be exceeded that’s for sure cus that just sets you up for disappointment.

Xbox has had a 1st-party quality issue for quite a while now. The fans and company reps shouldn’t be burying their heads in the sand in regard to that.

Building gaming powerhouses that we’ve come to expect from the likes of Nintendo and PlayStation is no easy feat (Google tried and gave up).

But yes, after repeated disappointments, it’s best to manage our expectations going forward and hope that eventually they’ll achieve the level of quality that is desired for 1st-party games.
