ngl i put around 70 hours into Starfield @ 30fps

but as i said before the optics around Xbox game output from Starfield to Hellblade 2 (both 30fps on console) just arent great and make me feel bad for the brand lol

replayed it the last time it was on game pass and I have to say the series x version runs so much better than the previous xbox version. it felt much better

Sure it’s disappointing news, especially when Hellblade 1 really benefited from 60fps in that current-gen upgrade, but it’s not an actual basis for Xbox struggling as a brand.

Speaking of 30fps, why couldn’t Starfield run at 60fps on consoles? The visuals ain’t exactly breathtaking.

The lack of 1st-party games is indeed an issue though; I’m only saying this cus Matt Booty has stated TWICE that we’d see at least one major 1st-party game for every quarter of the year since Xbox has so many studios now. So when are we ever going to see that materializing?

As for the frame-rate situation, do we know if Avowed runs at 60fps or not? Couldn’t tell from the gameplay footage they’ve shown

Completely abandoning the BC program was one of the dumbest things they’ve ever done, it was a major plus of owning an xbox. Hopefully with any new games they add there’s more of a focus on boosting the performance, it’s amazing to play some of those old 360 and Xbox one games at 60fps+.
