Good changes. Basic online MP should be free though. I rather have free online at base and gamepass prices increased. Free online gets more people into the system

No day 1 is fine. Any smart consumer ate for nearly a decade off that. It was very obviously unsustainable and stupid af for them to be doing but they did it for a long time. It was insanely consumer friendly and we all feasted

Been playing far cry 6 which I bought on the Xbox store through GeForce now since Ubisoft+ recognizes that I own it; even though it’s a console owned title I can play the PC version. Absolutely game changing. I could never get far in this game on console because the fov is laughably narrow, but this has made it so much more enjoyable

There are still more layoffs to come and its still bad . While at the same time the company has needed to restructure for a while since getting all these studios and focus on key games

Xbox layoffs and playstation layoffs / studio clostures both been hated on for good reason

Nintndo and japanese comapnies the main ones focused on living within their means while many just say "microsoft is rich why do layoffs at all they can afford it" when thats not how it works and some think their eventual goal is to split xbox from Microsoft
