With deathloop being mid, this seemingly being ass, and their last works being disappointments in FO4 and 76. They gotta end the streak of mediocrity to ass games that have had the bethesda name attached

Most people enjoyed deathloop and fallout 4, so that’s irrelevant. Fallout 4 has 9/10 in steam user ratings and 88/100 on meta, and that’s the last game Bethesda made on their own, so I don’t really think they’re struggling in any way.

Only morons would blame a publisher like that, the only reason EA catches heat is because they’re the ones forcing devs to put micro transactions and always online and other s*** onto the games

That's fine that doesn't take away that people had issues with the game and no one says that it lives up to 3 or New Vegas for that matter, by the standard of what fans of the series have come to expect, it didn't live up to expectations

As a publisher they still have a role, people still blame EA for games that have came out recently. They blamed them for Battlefield being a f*** up when the development of that was DICE's f*** up. As a publisher they can be hands off or they can be involved, they play an overseer role on the titles they're publishing still.

You could argue EA should've been involved more in making sure dice got their s*** together. The same could apply the same to Bethesda/Arkane with this 30 frame failure of a game that's getting panned by reviewers right now

Ultimately there is no EA game studios, so it’s not a salient point. Bethesda game studios (which makes es, fallout, starfield) and Bethesda softworks (which publishes deathloop and redfall) are two different companies with different employees so nothing the two teams do have anything to do with each other

As a publisher Bethesda and as a developer Arkane, when a product that they both have played a role in comes out, and we're not seeing positive things about that product
