I mean it’s clear that Gamepass will be the place for Action RPGs next gen with the Bethesda Acquisition and the games MS were already making. Gears is a great 3rd person shooter franchise. There are plenty of games with good stories on Gamepass and more to come both First and Third party. So I mean do you need to sign up for GP now? Probably not, but down the road you will probably want to.

but a $1500 pc would for sure be more powerful than the ps5 and series x especially with the new GPUs nvidia just released and the new ryzen CPUs which are dropping soon

The cost of those GPUs is the cost of the whole console
Now add on a comparable SSD, CPU, RAM and you’re already nearing a stack. Now you gotta buy the case, PSU etc. wait you’re not done yet, gotta buy a good monitor too! I get it, you can build a PC that’s more powerful than the new consoles but for $500?
