I don't see Microsoft telling stores to remove the one x tho. They'll probably send people out and have bigger advertisements for the series X and hopefully send educators/Reps out to tell the difference between both because a casual don't know wtf a Zen 2 processor and terraflops are.

Plus they won’t market this product nearly as bad as the Wii U did. The Wii U literally looked like it could be an extension of the Wii. This looks like an entirely new console . It won’t be as bad as you guys think probably

But this also looks like it could be an attachment to the Xbox one X, especially when it's standing up and has the green light on top. It even has a sorta similar looking controller. While we can obviously know it's a difference casuals won't.

It depends on how reps educate store employees. If employees just go it's stronger and start throwing out buzz words the average consumer and themselves don't understand then they'll be like "I'll just take the Xbox one X Since it's cheaper and play the same thing." I've seen it too many times working in retail.

You're highly overestimating casual consumers with kids. Especially the ones that aren't tech savvy. I can guarantee you those moms with their kids will be like "so what's the difference one has a light slimmer and the other don't?"

They're definitely going to have to do some remarkable marketing because calling it Xbox "series" X can definitely confuse people into thinking the Xbox one X is apart of the next gen Xbox line and then they get home and realize it doesn't play next gen games.

I can tell you so many stories of people who bought old Gen games thinking they bought a next gen system. Casual fans aren't that insightful.

I know a guy who work at a story that told me it was a guy that bought a used PS3 thinking it was a used PS4 and thought his system was broke like you can't make this s*** up.
