honestly you get used to it. especially when you consider you can play it on your bed as comfortably as you want
i think for me its better to play a story driven game like that compared to on a chair with like a headset and s***. idk, i guess it varies person to person

i got 150 hours in XC2 and 50 hours in Torna im ready to play the first game now haha

How different is the combat from XC2?

pretty different seeing as there are no blades in this game so that whole thing is out the equation. its fairly similar to a lot of standard mmo systems where youve got skills on an action bar with cooldowns and all that.

only annoying thing was that on the OG the skills weren't mapped to buttons so you had to actually scroll through your bar manually to select a skill - hopefully it'll be a little less cumbersome in DE

also love how u can change appearance of characters more than XC2

how far in did you get into it? think i got like 12 hours in or so. really enjoyed playing it, but i tend to just drop games if i'm not fully invested in em.

XBC2 Torna The Golden Country is still my favorite battle system in the franchise. 3 and the DLC further refining it is a close second though now. I’ve put in about 250+ hours in XBC3 alone, and I still plan on doing another playthrough at some point. I wanna do a NG+ run from XBC1 to 3 and 100% all of them, but it’s such a time commitment and my backlog is so long

I think it’s become my favorite jrpg franchise now when I think about.
