i did post lyrics from XXX...on page 1

“Said they killed his only son because of insufficient funds“

“I'll catch a nigga leavin' service if that's all I got
I'll chip a nigga, then throw the blower in his lap
Walk myself to the court like, "Bitch, I did that!"
Ain't no Black Power when your baby killed by a coward“

these lyrics strongly imply he’s talking about black on black crime

    the song xxx???

    is relevant how

XXX. is in my opinion Kendrick's deepest and most meaningful song he's ever put out. 3 different arcs in the story showing the hypocrisy all of us humans have yet in a sense it's justified hypocrisy. his homie looks up to him as someone who is spiritually in tune so kendrick is the one he calls when his son his killed. Kendrick knows what the "right" advice is which is to tell him to turn the other cheek but that's just not in our nature (especially if you're from Compton) Kendrick keeps it real saying f*** that lets keep the peace s*** I've been saying, if somebody kill my son they gonna have to die as well (hence the cycle of violence continues.) Right after telling him this he has to go speak at the anti violence/gun control convention, showing the hypocrisy but most of all, showing how human he is and how it would be great if all violence would end, but unfortunately that's just not the world we live in.

This song came out at the perfect time with trump being impeached. I’ve always been so confused at how Trump can have any following at all; this song helped me see that it’s a symptom of America’s inability to see itself for what it’s become & our willingness to give in to our base desires (sins essentially). We have forgotten that we wanted to love those that are different than us; be a sanctuary to the beaten and the “damned”. It’s easier to hate our so-called “enemy” (anyone unfamiliar or different; whoever Fox News tells us to hate) and give in to the vices that the Trump administration represents. Kendrick made this phenomenon less confusing for me...we can pull out of this if we can truly see ourselves for what we are. "This country is to be a sound of drum and bass you close your eyes to look around" "Americas reflections of me, that's what a mirror (ameria) does"

My man just had to slip in the Fox News bit which lost a lot of credibility to this post. Media is the devil in general.

When gang banging make me kill a nigga blacker than me?

You not seeing the bigger picture, it's not just gang violence, the whole song is about America and about hypocrisy, it's about murder in general "It's murder on my street, your street, back streets"
he gives an example of gang violence because that's what's close to him the most, but those same people america views as criminals whether it's people involved in gang activities or the "thugs" in the current riots, it all happens because of America’s inability to see itself for what it’s become

"This country is to me a sound of drum and bass you close your eyes to look around"
"The great American flag is wrapped in drag with explosives"
"Gang members or terrorists, et cetera, et cetera
America's reflections of me, that's what a mirror does"

You think the 3rd verse is there for what? or why he stars the song with "America, god bless you if it's good to you..."
This country is built on violence
