The comparison to Tupac is absurd, Tupac is ingrained in our culture, literally EVERYONE knows who he is, across the world, the elderly, etc. Ask anyone who is 35+ years old no one will even have heard about him, and he had like one hit song? Tupac had countless classic songs and albums.
