Everybody cringed at that Kendrick tweet lmao
Bro Cole, Ye, Kendrick, and Drake (lowkey) all co-signed him. They knew he was special lol also Tyler and Rocky did too. He had mad streams on the same level of Ed Sheeran and Rihanna. Just say you didn’t like him and go lol
Speak for yourself X was a great artist and inspired many
One of the most hated artists, critically panned, lyrically surface level trash

2/3 of the things you just said mean nothing lol
You clearly hate X

You are delusional if you think he was more than an edgy rapper for outcast tweens with 2 s*** tier albums

You’re delusional for thinking he didn’t have the impact that he did man. All he had to do was refine his sound a little and he could have easily become one of the greats. He made music for everyone. A lot of people in the industry knew he was going to be huge and shake up the game

Trash artists can have some impact too
He wasn't seen as a good artist

To each his own. I think a lot of his stuff was great. 17 was a great album and ? could have been but he had too many sounds on it
Conflicted when I come it comes to X.
On one hand, dude is a piece of s*** for what he did to shorty.
But on the 'separate the art from the artist' hand, he was probably the most interesting and most controversial artist to blow up since Young Thug.
Naw way bigger than that, X was leading rap he was the wave, that’s why industry plants and all dat goofy thot/hood s*** took over again, because X died
I’m glad Carti stepped up and became a rager
It’s up to Jaden n Carti now to lead the youth
But X was the one
Jaden
Trash artists can have some impact too
He wasn't seen as a good artist
What does this even mean? He wasn’t seen as a good artist? By who nigga
You?
Since when do we care about critics and who is “seen as a good artist” by general population
Do you think he had potential tho?
Well, I think he was a dumbass so his lyrics would never evolve into something interesing. But if he had some guidance, got his life together and learned how to make complete/fleshed out songs instead of half assed demos then he would've been a lot better musically. Even tho he wasn't innovative by any means, he was good at duplicating the ideas that he likes and emulating different genres.
X called Drake a f*ggot on the radio when did he co sign him
Drake co-signed him by stealing his flow on KMT in which we all know that’s his way of showing love and admiring an artist. If X didn’t go at him for that, Drake would have ran into the opportunity of collabing lmao
X called Drake a f*ggot on the radio when did he co sign him
He also glorified Dylann Roof in his tweets
Very strange and soulless individual
RIP💜
Everybody cringed at that Kendrick tweet lmao
ppl who never gave his music a chance bc of his abusive past cringed at the tweet but people with an open mind saw that Kendrick was co-signing the music not his actions
Would’ve loved some Juice and X collabs
X on Nuketown

Jokes aside he had potential to be one of the best artists in the game imo
Most of his music was raw and unfinished but when he put out a song that hit it hit. And even when he didn’t hit all the way I could still see his potential
