I used to draw good as a kid too but I suck ass ever since my teen years after stopped for some years - so that pushed me further into 3d animation and sculpting

Animating and video editing is so tedious to me tho, but I love model sculpting and setting up scenes

Since a kid I always love creation type modes and titles in video games too like Spore, Sims n Sims City, character creators in RPGs, games that let you create your own lil game etc. that naturally helped with the basis of 3d modeling and thinking more in a 3d space

Nowadays 3d modeling is way better and higher quality for me than reg drawing - I just use very simple sketches in notebooks for rough ideas or for rough story boarding then the rest I'm doing just on feel

One of my fav things as a kid was drawing my own Japanese Godzilla movie posters
