Jordans are a product with a primarily aesthetic purpose (there are several factors why people prefer some Jordans to other more modern sneakers - the materials used, the overall cleaner lines, and ofc the nostalgia for something that is so ingrained in the culture).

Like, you can't compare that to the art form that is music, which offers a much richer and broader experience to the individual than a utilitarian product.

I understand the point he's trying to illustrate, but yeah the comparison doesn't make sense imo.
