GKMC was already getting the machine push (sxn 80 was independent released while gkmc was the studio) before Drake ever steppped in & Kendrick was already known underground

The mainstream did not attach to kendrick off of Buried Alive either, it became a cool trivia fact afterwards for the mainstream
