I will say this thou, as much as I miss the roided out, coked out era the "regular guys who grew up wanting to be wrestlers" had one thing going for them and that was PWG (and to an extent some of NXT from like 2017 - 2019 but NXT is pretty much polished PWG)

PWG from like 2011 to 2017 is some entertaining stuff. Very low-budget and raw. Funny commentary, crazy stunts, small but great crowd. Check out the highlights on YouTube if you get a chance.

First great show is SteenWolf and last great show imo is probably Battle of Los Angeles 2017.
They only have highlights on YouTube. You need to subscribe to High Spots Wrestling Network to get the full catalog. Only 9.99 a month last I checked.
