    Nah we wasn’t doing that in Jersey. Jersey club was still thriving around then. It was known but I think the cat daddy and the Doug is were prolly the only Cali dances that really popped off

    I get your point i was east coast too but no way cat daddy, which no one remembers, was bigger than the JERK the biggest dance craze of out generation that lasted years. There were 100% Jersey dancers on youtube trying to get popular doing that but definitely not the cat daddy

    Obviously (mostly black/cultured) people remember it if they were there but no one brings it up and it wasn’t memorable enough for the really young/next generation to reference it.

    It was just a fad trying to recreate the success of the other 2
    Compared to the jerk or dougie not even close
