weiland has huge promise, has a great sound but doesn't drop enough. yes, in his mysterious act he has signed to a major but he should've been building up his fanbase. right now everythings in limbo for him, his debut tape has been delayed almost a dozen times and it only has 9 songs + all the songs are literally 1-2 years old.
he's dropped 3 f***ing songs since 2018. On what earth should an artist like Weiland be doing that. I love his music but he not Carti. Plus, it's not like Weiland has somebody like Rocky on his side, a well established artist who's been through it all and basically handed Carti a career

also, a lot of the antics he's tried to pull like built in autotune are extremely lame. i hope he just is himself and doesn't try to adhear to gimmicks and fall into an image.

I mean I listened to all 3 snips and the other two songs and I expected something next level and yes his music sounds good but it also sounds like what everyone else is making save for a few moments

he's literally got the versatility and the vision. unlike carti who was trying to find his sound and progress from a typical rapper heavily inspiried by chief keef, weiland has found his stride and arguably already had it prior to signing. he gotta drop at the VERY LEAST early next year, or I don't know what he doing. no way it's the labels fault either cause summrs been dropping heaps of singles on soundcloud
