I too have favorite Drake records from that era. Hell, Extra Special and Video Girl are some of my joints from RFI

But it's definitely lame for me to hear people talk about his past work as if the current work isn't up to standard. Maybe it isn't to them, idk but I was there when TML dropped...and niggas was wanting old drake even then.

That's why it's funny to me when people talk about old drake. "Old Drake" was not nearly as teflon as it is now. That's why the debate over whether or not he had a classic(s) lasted for so long.

So yeah, the fantasy of "old drake" when I hear people refer to it just makes me roll my eyes because he's not in a decline musically, and everyone is lying about how they felt about old drake when it dropped.

Matter Fact.... NWTS Leaked 10 Years Ago Today.... I remember calling my ex to tell her happy birthday and I got the text from my college friend at the time saying "drake leaked" .... as soon as i got off the phone with her... I rushed to download it and the rest was history.

The BEST Part was it leaked 1 day before Grand Theft Auto 5!!!
I told my teacher i was showing up late to his class the next day... he said he understood why! lol What A Time...
