He literally dropped SMF to please the critics.. just happened to do it on the heels of crossing over (Havana/This is America)

punk has terrible sequencing, the middle is pretty much an entirely different album. like he was afraid doing a full album of mellow melodic songs would flop so he couldn't fully commit to it. SMF is at least consistently decent and keeps up that carefree summer vibe from beginning to end, even though punk has better highs.

He did the right thing and gave it to the yuggins to blow up off of these past 5 years

We know thug hella versitile so these albums help with exposure to other audiences

yeah it does. it's an album not a mixtape, you can't just tack on a bunch of random s*** from different sessions that doesn't match the vibe the first few songs set up and expect it to sound cohesive. well, you can, but i don't have to like it lol.
