You f***ing melons really think it’s a bad thing artists capitalize on their fandom/position of power to sell product outside of music

You’re telling me if you were an artist, you wouldn’t be selling merch alongside music to get that bag? Increase your sales? Make yourself bigger?

I honestly respect the hustle and appreciate the artists finding new ways to sell product to fans that they can buy and use as a keepsake for years
Stop hating on them for selling merch/bundles you bunch of commies

if jay z was selling a copy of 4:44 with gatorades i would find it corny no matter how much i respect him and enjoy his music
that's not business, it's trying to scam sales

Ngl it's wild how ppl give Hov a pass for getting Companies to buy 1M copies of albums in bulk to give out for free but Travis and Abel get hate for using other ways for fans to legitimately buy their albums.

Abel helped birthed an entire wave of R&B before doing Bundles with 3 Classic tapes and was already a Pop Superstar with BBTM and songs like Earned It and The Hills.

Travis was already a Platinum artist and had a classic mixtape (DBR) before Astroworld dropped.

They are solidified commercially as well. They didn't need bundles to sell by any means but KTT twists the bundles factor to act like it was a crutch.

If anything Drake on Sicko Mode moved more units for Trav than the actual bundles did imo.

I think Hov had at least 10 #1 albums before MCHG or some s*** like that. And Hov has always been known as a boss so people gonna see that as a boss move. Also, he only did that once. I see Weeknd and Travis doing that for every release now.

It’s not a big deal but it’s a bit pitiful to see artists indirectly beg for sales

    Gotta make a living
