It feels like a beautiful moment thats always been there (I was 8 when Graduation dropped)
bought graduation cd from walmart the day it came out and went home to play it on my boombox
not really but i knew it was one of the best songs ever made instantly
not as well as I remember hearing Good Morning
after I bought the album at walmart and threw it in the whip
instantly knew the trajectory of his sound had shifted
I remember the album leaked and i was getting ready for school and it was my instant favorite and could not stop playing it. Those were the ipod days. Crazy

this era was so iconic

Prob was seeing the music video on MTV
It was like the flip side of Can’t Tell Me Nothing video wise
CTMN was in the salt flats during the day. Not sure if Flashing Lights was filmed on the same location but it looks like some sort of desert at night
I know LR is an incredible album and it’s some people’s favorite but Grad is where he really splintered off and changed the game
Yeah.
My dad would drive me around and he'd play Hot 97.
At one point in 2007, every other song they played was Flashing Lights and I Get Money by 50 Cent and we f***ed with both songs heavy back then.

The best singles were on grad can’t tell me nothing, flashing lights, stronger, good life, homecoming
Yeah was in grade 9, back then I didn't have a laptop or a cell phone and was bumping graduation on a desktop pc with a sub woofer, chatting with b****es on MSN messenger at the same time
