Back in 6th grade my school had this whole scandal when this teacher made my class (unisex, all 11-12 year olds) get changed together for some kind of performance we were doing. All the kids complained to her of course, but she was just like "you guys are old enough for this now" (????) and so we all had to see each other in our underwear.

Parents complained afterwards and the teacher was made to only teach like 1st and 2nd grade after that or some s***, but it was basically a slap on the wrist compared to what would happen these days imo

The racial make up of my schools growing up were mostly 70% Black and 20% White. No way was s*** like that going to fly, lol. Plus a lot of staff was Black.

The only ridiculous s*** I can remember was us going on a field trip to Jamestown settlement and them talking about how the Pilgrims and Native Americans lived in harmony. But that is typical US curriculum.
