I listen to the album every time it comes on shuffle. It's a really good album. Most of the hate for it comes from kids who follow the hive mind and can't form their own opinions. Humans are stupid creatures so I can't blame them.

And here I thought most of the hate came from the fact that the subject matter is off putting, there’s only a handful of great tracks on a 23 song album, with some of the most cringe, Sesame Street-esque lyricism we’ve seen from Chance.

This is also coupled with the fact that the features outshine Chance throughout the majority of the album, that the album would be objectively better if all of the haphazard song concepts like “Hot Shower” or “Slide Thru” (which Kanye should’ve had and not damn Chance) were cut, and that it’s simply the worst of his projects thus far thus it gets a bad rap.
