this been on my mind for a while thanks to whoever made this thread

yeah so as someone who’s had an interest in history/geopolitics this site gave me a lot of different perspectives to think from and a combination of just learning from discussions + life issues. Gonna be blunt and say a lot of posters give off the vibe that their braindead and can’t think critically about things outside their immediate environment. People just boxed in or wanna s***post 24/7. I’m not above it either and I’m not expecting anyone to be some straight edge but there’s a time and place you yourself have to be willing to learn. Some people maybe aren’t ready

But also… there’s a problem with politics discussions on this site when people get extremely pretentious when presenting viewpoints or engaging in discussions. Huge turn off when you’re trying to present your views to people imo+coupled with bringing that talk in every thread makes people shut their ears off and not listen.

We’re not perfect people and idk any of y’all behind the screen but hopefully those that already care about semi_productive discussions in any form take something from this. Y’all have a good day
