the musics nice but mysterious music will never win
this couldve been the biggest album of the year maybe he realized barber shops couldnt play it so he had no choice
There's a lot of songs here worth listening to but a white square is preventing people from pressing play

It just felt self sabotaging and weird considering how much popularity he’s built over the past few years (Redbone/This Is America/dropping a short movie with Rihanna/headlining Coachella). He still hasn’t even acknowledged the album or said anything about it lol. It makes you wonder if his father passing or any label issues factored into this approach. If this ends up the last Bino album it just feels like a missed opportunity to go out with a bang. Also I personally would’ve liked him to rap if this gonna be the swan song for Childish Gambino lol
Gambino has always been a weird artist, you think any normal rapper gonna make s*** like No Exit, Bonfire, Let Me Dope You, or Backpacker?
yeah and he also created one of the weirdest shows on tv but this time it doesnt feel genuine imo
Just shows that Fantano lives rent free in KTT2's head. People here were praising it until fantano gave it a s*** review

Actually one of my favorite tracks off Descendents of Cain
And yeah that’s cool and all but it seems like he had an intention with this.
Like with the title, the track names, cover etc. he didn’t even acknowledge the album when it dropped s*** felt like an accident damn near
i'm sticking to my belief that the album was meant to be a single-track continuous play like Prince's Lovesexy. but RCA was like nah. or maybe the idea didn't agree with streaming services? but idk Lovesexy is one 45 min song on Spotify.
that's what would make the most sense to me tho, especially since when you went on his site the day it premiered it wouldn't start from track 1, but from whatever minute it was already streaming at. the album art doesn't bother me, i'm used to artists doing weird "artistic" s*** with that. as far as naming the album after the day it went live on the site...he lost me there.
the album is good tho lol only thing that bothers me is Algorhythm and Time actually GETTING a title

Honestly I had that thought too, I'd assume it'd be a label issue seeing as how streams don't count until it plays half way through or something.
But in regards to the very public recent racist events that have taken place these last 5-6 days.
Not a single lie was told in this track
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_yRYscHLWcOr this track!
!https://youtu.be/UdYP3GMwJbkImagine hating on powerful black music because "It doesn't have song titles! It doesn't have album artwork!" real smooth brain energy
Yeah I'm bumping this thread cause 19.10 hitting something fierce these last few days
I promise you if this album had title tracks and a decent title and cover it will be up for AOTY and probably win RAOTY at the grammy’s
I really think he had more coming and wasn’t expecting corona to shut down everything. His marketing team goes hard and he loves performing. I feel like he had a real album coming out but then corona got serious and they stepped back once again.
after relistening to it this is an amazing album that shoudlve gotten way more attention
