i will die on this hill, and have said it before on here, but kanye’s lower tone, calmer cadence on the og cudi montage, is just ever so slightly preferred to the finished version. i love the somber tone his voice gives off and how it leads into “lord shine your light on me save me please” it’s just so perfect and makes me so sad
