Crazy thing is: Drake hasn't even updated his certs yet.

I could see him approaching 200 once he updates it.

Also, Kanye is super impressive as well.

I agree but we also have to remember that he was still fairly well known while he was alive, its not like he went from one hit wonder status to doing these numbers. Juice in less than 2 years went from small soundcloud artist to performing all over the world, literally had sold out shows in Japan at 20 years old.

Took 5 years off and still being the highest sold Rap album of 2022 n his certs arent updated in forever

While Cole has dropped almost every year plus multiple group projects that still count

  • Jul 29, 2022

Whats crazy is that hes always top 3 most streamed overall in Rap

Actually, it isn't. Drake and Kendrick's latest albums don't even have plaques for their songs yet.

It was easier in the 2010's decade.

I thought Future's album was the highest sold this year.

I thought Future's album was the highest sold this year.

It was for a while but fell off the last few weeks while Kendricks is still being semi consistent. Kendrick also went gold faster than Future.

Originally meant FW but yeah, Kendricks is starting to outpace which is what hus albums usually do after 1st/2nd week. At a steady pace that eventually passes most ppl by the end of the year.
